I might have some bitter feelings about life at times but I realize I'm not the only one. It's a lot of anger going around in this world. A lot of loveless feelings, actions and thoughts. So what can we do? What do we expect to happen?

I was listening to a county song (yes I dab into country sometime...not often tho...lol) and the chorus said we need 4 walls, 3 words, 2 hearts and 1 love.

Truth: the happiest people have shelter, support, companionship and love. What more do we need? nothing really! Just the motivation to keep pushing to this countdown.

My Love

So I was in the library & I was listening to Jill Scott's song "My Love" & I must say that song is the ish! Not only Bc it sounds good (remember everything that sound or look good ain't good for u!) but also Bc of what she says. "My love is deeper, tighter, sweeter, higher, fire didn't you know this? Or didn't you notice?"

Idk about y'all but I'm taking this statement way past sexual! My girl is saying I'm the ish in the bedroom, the kitchen, at ya mama's house, at the church house...every where WE go know that my love is the ish!

I have always felt this way about myself. Yeah I just broke up w/ my old man but that didn't do a thing to my ego...I'm STILL the ish & he (along w/ all my exes) can tell u that I love & I love hard.

Don't think I'm boasting or even that I'm trying to downplay the next chic Bc I wish everyone would feel this way. Insecurities are the recipe for so many problems that we are better off without.

There is a big difference between confidence & conceitedness. Usually if one is conceited they are embracing an illusion & have yet to find themselves & their true reality. To be confident is to be comfortable with yourself & know your limits & what you are capable of.
